Visiting Team Information

Dear Athletic Trainer,

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your team to Averett University in Danville, VA. The athletic training room, located in the Grant Center at North Campus, will be open 2 hours prior to each event/game. We have hydrocolator packs, whirlpools, ice, electric stim, and ultrasound available. There will be a Certified Athletic Trainer available to assist you in any way.

If your team is traveling with a Certified Athletic Trainer, our facilities and modalities will be available for your use. However, if you are not sending an athletic trainer, or you are sending a student, we ask that you send a prescription from either an ATC or a team physician. We will also perform any taping that is required; however please provide all needed supplies (Averett Athletic Training will not provide any supplies needed for taping/bracing).

During the game/match ice, water, cups, any emergency equipment/splints, and ice bags will be available for your use. Please bring towels for showering post- game/match and for use on the bench. Averett will not supply towels.
