English students develop strong analytical skills, are proficient writers and have a strong background in texts and movements. Graduates are prepared to:

• Teach
• Pursue advanced degrees in law or business
• Attend graduate school
• Find success in fields like journalism, public relations and business

 

Students may elect to pursue combined majors in English/theatre, English/history (pre-law) or to complete courses leading to teacher licensure in English.
