Commuter students make up approximately 40% of our student body. We understand the different challenges and pressures that commuter students deal with every day. We're here to assist you.

Student Center
Looking for a place to hang out between classes? Catch some of your favorite shows while you relax, play a game of pool, or find a quiet place to study in our newest addition to campus.

Dining
Located on the third level of the Student Center, Bon Appetit brings restaurant-quality dining to Averett. You can purchase meals in the dining hall or enjoy coffee and sandwiches in Jut's Café. Meal plans are available for your convenience. For more information, visit our Dining at Averett page.

Computer Labs
Windows and Macintosh computers are available in Frith Hall, and Windows computers are in Main Hall, Bishop Hall, the Student Center and the Library. Some computer labs are open 24 hours per day. Priority is given to those using lab computers for academic work.

Parking
Register your vehicle(s) with Averett's Security Office (103 Danville Hall), and display the appropriate decal when parking on campus. Many areas adjacent to the campus are restricted for “Parking By Permit Only.” These spaces are for city residents who hold special permits.
